SaleGuard Support

Last updated: October 13, 2026

Tell us what happened and include the details below so we can investigate the right store and sale without guessing.

Contact support

In short: Email support@getsaleguard.com.

For the fastest diagnosis, include:

  • Your .myshopify.com store URL
  • The sale name and scheduled start/end time
  • A screenshot or the exact error message

Do not send passwords, Shopify access tokens, payment-card details, or customer personal data. SaleGuard support does not need them.

If prices need attention now

In short: Open the sale detail page first and check its run log, snapshot status, and rollback action.

  1. Open SaleGuard from Shopify admin and select the affected sale.
  2. Check whether the sale is applying, restoring, completed, or failed.
  3. Download the snapshot CSV before making unrelated manual edits.
  4. If the app was removed, reinstall it as soon as you can and open the affected sale. Snapshots are erased once Shopify’s store-data deletion request arrives, so your CSV copy is the safer record.

Will SaleGuard restore my original prices?

In short: Yes. Every variant's price is saved before the sale touches it.

Before a sale changes a variant, SaleGuard stores its price and compare-at price in a snapshot. The scheduled restore uses that snapshot, and the sale detail page also keeps a manual rollback action available.

What if the app is uninstalled during a sale?

In short: Sales that haven't started are cancelled. Download the snapshot CSV first.

SaleGuard sends an uninstall alert and cancels sales that haven't started. Your snapshot stays in the app until Shopify sends its store-data deletion request, normally about 48 hours after uninstall, so download the snapshot CSV first. The CSV is your own record of the original prices.

How does billing work?

In short: There is a Free plan. Paid plans are billed through Shopify.

A Free plan is available. Regular paid upgrades are approved and billed through Shopify Billing and include the trial shown on the approval screen. SaleGuard never receives your card details. Your first payment can be refunded in full within 3 days, no reason needed (once per store). After that, cancelling stops future charges and you keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for; payments already made are not refunded.

Privacy and terms

In short: The public policies explain the data SaleGuard stores, retention, billing, and refund rules.
